Men! Buy this for your pegnant wife! But...be forewarned, mr. snoogle will instantly become her best friend in bed. Once introduced to my wife, she slept with mr. snoogle every night! You will be demoted to #2 status (but, fortunately, you'll still be allowed to sleep in the bed). Sure, she will still invite you to snuggle with her. But, and I speak from experience, it is kind of like sharing your bed with a giant 6 foot earthworm that insists on lying between you and your wife. Awkward. Snuggling just isn't the same. You'll just have to man-up for the next several months and accept that you are now a second class citizen in your own bed. To add insult to injury you should also know that your wife will undress mr. snoogle every once in a while so that his jacket can be washed, and you will be asked to redress mr. snoogle, which again is an awkward process (think about trying to put a 6 foot sock on a 6 foot uncooperative worm) but, on the positive side, this might be good practice at dressing your soon to be wiggly newborn child.
But you know what? It is 100% worth it. The inconvenience and alienation you experience pales in comparison to the comfort and relief that mr. snoogle brings your wife during this wonderful time. And do not despair! As soon as our child was born mr. snoogle was escorted off the premises.

I absolutely loved this pillow when I was pregnant. My husband didn't like how bulky it was, but he knew I deserved a little bit more space in bed for a time. The only disappointment was that the head part flattened by the time we had the baby. It wasn't quite as comfortable at the end and we'll probably get rid of it now. I liked it enough though that we will probably buy another one next time I'm pregnant.

I'm 5.5 months pregnant with my 1st and a RN who works 12 hr shifts. Needless to say by the end of the day I can hardly stand and sleeping at night has been leaving me with shoulder and hip pain. My sister used this pillow throughout her 2 pregnancies and lent it to me weeks ago, but I never used it. I'm in a queen sized bed with a 6'5 fiance so I didn't want anything to bulky. I tried this last night out of desperation. OMG great nights sleep. I'm usually up mulitple times a night readjusting pillows switching sides and sometimes just getting out of bed to go sit on the sofa. I actually slept through the entire night and woke up only once to roll over. Best nights sleep I've had in months! Yes the material is a little scratchy but its a small price to pay. And fyi I'm 5'9 and this pillow fits me fine. Wish I had started using it weeks ago.

This pillow is perfect even in early pregnancy. I was always so worried about rolling onto my back and wanted a pillow that provided good support while sleeping on my side. This one provides good neck and back support and also helps by cushioning between the knees. It was a little stiff and dense when I first got it so it took a few weeks to break it in and get used to it but now I love it and can't sleep without it!

Prior to purchasing this pillow, I would toss and turn all night long. This is my first pregnancy, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect in regards to sleeping ailments. But with not being able to sleep on my back or stomach, my hips were getting really sore in the night from not only being on one side to long, but also from my ligaments loosening. This pillow has made sleeping a much better and more restful experience for several reasons. 1) this pillow literally cradles my body. It fits snuggly between my head and shoulder as well as between my legs. 2) with this pillow I don't need an additional pillow for my head. 3) the long pillow side supports both my back or my stomach depending on which side I am using/sleeping on. And while this pillow hasn't taken away my hip pain, it has relieved it by offering additional support in body positioning while sleeping.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this pillow. It is worth every penny! Also, to save money I purchased a fitted sheet at Wal-Mart and sewed my own cover.
